This study evaluated the effectiveness of the Fitterfly Diabetes DTx program in alleviating anxiety and depression symptoms along with improvements in HbA1c levels among people with type 2 diabetes. Virtual sessions led by psychologists incorporated cognitive behavioral therapy and mindfulness interventions. Results from 376 participants showed a 1.4% reduction in HbA1c along with a significant decline in anxiety (45%) and depression (64%) scores. The results indicate that Fitterfly DTx program has potential to improve diabetes care by effectively tackling mental health issues.
