A study assessed the effectiveness of the Fitterfly Diabetes CGM program in reducing glycemic variability (GV) among individuals with type 2 diabetes. De-identified data from 220 participants was analyzed. After 7 days, the program resulted in significant reductions in mean blood glucose and time above range (TAR) by 4.3% , and a significant increase of 1.7% in time in range (TIR). Glucose management indicator (GMI) and coefficient of variation for glucose (CV) also showed improvement. However, there was no significant change in time below range (TBR). The study concluded that the PGR-based guidance on the program led to improved glycemic control and reduced GV in just 7 days.
